Shipping, Returns, and Pickup

Where do you ship to?
Orders can be shipped within the United States and will be sent via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise stated. It is recommended to sign up for delivery notifications via the carrier. Funhouse Studio is not responsible for packages once they are marked "delivered," however, if any delivery issues arise please contact me via the form on this site.

How long is handling time?
Orders will be shipped out within two to three business days of an order being placed unless otherwise stated in the announcement at the top of the site. Holidays may delay shipping time.

Oops! I made a mistake and want to cancel my order. How do I do this?
Please reach out via the contact form within 24 hours of placing your order to cancel.

Do you offer returns?
Currently I do not offer returns, but am more than happy to help if your order arrives damaged or defective. Please reach out within 48 hours of receiving your order with any questions or concerns by using the contact form in the menu bar.

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! If you'd like to pick up your order and live in or near Philly, you can select the free "Local Pickup" option at checkout. We can coordinate a pickup after the order has been placed.


Product Info

What is upcycling?
Similar to recycling, it's the process of taking an existing object or piece of clothing and turning it into something else. It's an eco-friendly way of repurposing materials without the need for purchasing them new.

How are your products made?
Base garments and fabrics are sourced secondhand and used as a canvas for appliqué designs. Typically, remnants and odd scraps are chosen for the embellishments. They are attached with fusible interfacing and then sewn by machine and/or hand depending on the design.

If I want a specific design that has sold out will you be selling it again in the future?
Yes! Certain designs are recurring but available colors, sizes, and fabrics will vary. Each garment is unique. Product inventory is updated regularly so stay tuned and check back if you're looking for something specific!

Do you offer customs?
Not at this time!

How do I care for my pieces?
It is recommended to turn all pieces inside-out and use a mesh bag in cold water, wash on a delicate setting, and hang to dry. To maximize longevity, pieces can also be hand-washed and only when really necessary.

How do I determine my size?
Most garments use standard gender-neutral sizing and every product will contain measurements in the description. If you are unsure about your size, it's recommended to take a well-fitting garment you already own and compare the measurements to that one!

Do you ever sell things in person?
Yes! Funhouse Studio hosts pop ups and vends at local maker markets in the Philadelphia region.

Can you explain the pricing?
All garments and accessories offered at Funhouse Studio are priced accordingly based on labor, materials, and complexity of the design. Each piece is unique and upcycled by hand!
